In Q4 2023, the top consumer finance applications on iOS in Mexico showed notable performance trends in terms of downloads and weekly active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

BBVA México saw a consistent increase in downloads throughout the quarter. The app's downloads peaked at around 51K in the week of November 20 and remained strong with approximately 49K to 50K downloads in December. Weekly active users for the app fluctuated, starting at 1.24M and peaking at 1.29M in mid-November before slightly declining to 1.20M by the end of December.

Nubank: Conta, Cartão e mais also experienced growth in downloads, with a significant increase in the first week of November reaching 41K. The app maintained strong download numbers, averaging around 37K to 38K in December. Weekly active users steadily increased from approximately 424K at the start of the quarter to 518K by the end of December.

Mercado Pago: cuenta digital showed stable download numbers, with a notable peak of 35K in mid-November. The app's active users saw a significant increase, starting at around 544K and reaching a high of 629K in mid-November, before experiencing a slight decline to 548K by the end of the quarter.

Citibanamex Móvil had a steady download trend, peaking at approximately 17K in the last week of December. The app's weekly active users exhibited some fluctuations, starting at 542K and peaking at 527K in late October before ending the quarter at 474K.

Lastly, HSBC México maintained consistent download numbers throughout the quarter, with a peak of around 11K in late November. The active user base for the app remained stable, starting at 264K and fluctuating slightly to end at approximately 266K by the end of December.
